My blog and> social media is full of healthy living and> fitness inspiration, which is after all what I’m here for. But what if you love the inspiration and> constantly feel motivated but have no idea where to start. This blog post is here to change that. I am going to discuss my top tips for getting healthier. No crazy diets or extreme workout routines just a few tips you can implement to start you on the path to a healthier you.

1. Eat more fruit and> Veg. This is so simple, but will make you feel so much better and> healthier. Aim to have some fruit or vegetable with each meal and> use as snacks.  If this sounds a little difficult look to finger food versions, and> just keep digging in. Carrot or Celery Sticks, Grapes, Berries and> Cherry Tomatoes are packed full of antioxidants, and> easy to keep picking at.

2. Fit more activity into your life. Again fitness doesn’t have to be all about the gym. Can you walk to work occasionally? Or if not try parking a little further from the office. Take the stairs more and> if you can walk to the shop instead of driving. All these small steps will begin to add up. And then if you feel like it you can add more dedicated exercise into your routine. Gym Sessions, Swimming, long weekend walks, it doesn’t have to be complicated you just have to move your body more.

3. Get a good night’s sleep.  So often our sleep gets neglected but it is super important to a healthy lifestyle. Focus on a relaxing bedtime routine, and> make sure your bedroom is set up for sleep.  If you have trouble sleeping try some relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga, or check out my previous post on improving sleep here.

4. Think Positive. Don’t be so hard on yourself all the time, some research shows that having a positive attitude can boost your overall health. Your body believes what you think, so love it and> focus on the positives.

These are super simple tips that don’t require cutting anything out or doing a ridiculous amount of exercise.  But they may help you start to feel healthier and> more positive.  If you the want to take things further you can but focus on these 4 things to begin with and> you will be well on your way to a healthier you.
