I will admit to being a huge novice when it comes to make up, and> beauty products. I have used the same products for years and> it is something I have never really taken much care over. However I have recently found a bit of a love for skin care and> that has developed into an interest in beauty and> make up. I think having my make up done professionally for my wedding was one of the things that sparked my interest. I felt amazing on my wedding day and> saw what some well applied products could do for me.
My make up collection leaves a lot to be desired and> I am ashamed to admit the state of some of my eyeshadow palettes. So for Christmas I decided to add a few pieces to my collection, and> throw out the old. And with experimentation and> learning new ways of applying products in mind I have found myself following more and> more beauty bloggers. And taking inspiration from them.
I thought therefore it might be fun to share some of my current favourites with you.
Em Sheldon Em blogs about all things beauty, lifestyle, travel, fashion and> fitness. Em seems really down to earth, and> friendly always responding to tweets or comments which is great to see as she has over 70k followers on Instagram alone! I love reading her blog and> following her social media for inspiration.
Bubbly Bex I met Bex at a blogger event last year, and> as another Manchester blogger she is fab! Bex is an absolute gem, I was thrilled when she agreed to do a make up tutorial as part of my Ode2fitmas advent campaign. You can find out more about that here: Ode2fitmas 14. Bex’s make up always looks fabulous, and> I have learnt so much from her. Including how to master winged eyeliner, although I still need more practice on that one!
There are so many beauty bloggers out there it was hard to narrow it down, so here are some more of my favourites for you to look out for:
Let me know if you would recommend any other beauty bloggers, I would love to find more. Although I am not sure my bank balance can take much more inspiration!
