Hopefully you all read my post recently on Matcha and> UP YOUR MATCHA, well here is the first of my recipes using their powder – Chocolate & Almond Matcha Energy Balls. These are so simple to make and> contain only 5 ingredients!

These are great for on the go, giving you a natural energy boost from the Matcha’s naturally occurring caffeine. With a lovely hit of chocolatey goodness you can’t go wrong!!

What you need:
Half a teaspoon of Matcha Powder (Plus a little extra for dusting)
20g Almonds
Approx. 6 Medjool Dates, pitted
1 Teaspoon of Cocoa Powder
Splash of Unsweetened Almond Milk

Add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor, and> mix for a couple of minutes until you get a gooey mixture, you may need to add a touch more almond milk if the mixture is a bit dry. Get your hand>s dirty and> combine all the mixture together. Divide into 6 and> roll into small balls. Once this has been done, you can roll the balls in some additional Matcha, and> leave to cool in the fridge.
