Aloe Vera is something that has been around for a while – I always go for after sun with some cooling Aloe Vera gel in it but now I am being told I should drink it? Really?!  No, I am not going mad, Aloe Vera juice is the new kid on the block when it comes to healthy drinks! Aloe Vera juice has been used for thousand>s of years for it’s health benefits, dating back to Egyptian times – it is said to be great for skin, your immune system and> detoxing.

Detoxifying – It is crammed full of amino acids, vitamins and> minerals that can help improve digestive functions, and> rid the body of any nasties!

Immune Boosting – Full of polysaccharides, the soothing juice can help restore the immune system!

Digestion – Again the soothing juice can help heal and> soothe the digestive system, aiding painful symptoms.

I would like to point out that there is little evidence to support the health benefits, and> these drinks can be expensive and> may just be “fitness” hype but they are better than soft drinks and> if you can find a nice tasting aloe vera drink it may be worth a try!

Simplee aloe is a mix of aloe vera, with grape juice and> a small squeeze of lemon juice and> it tastes yummy and> so refreshing! One other thing to add is that it is a smooth drink, which is so much better as some of the aloe vera drinks I have tried have an odd bitty texture!  You can get the juice in a number of different supermarkets in the UK!  It’s a refreshing drink, with some possible extra health benefits what’s not to like!
