So there are now only 2 weeks to go until the big day, I have to say I am pretty worried but my training seems to be going well, today I completed 82 laps of a 20 metre pool so this is the full mile but it was tough and> I didn’t complete it without resting but I am thinking next I have to tackle the great outdoors.
I am amazed to discover how great I feel after a few weeks of constant swimming training, I don’t seem to have actually lost any weight but in my self I feel great, really noticing the difference in how toned I am. I would recommend it as a form of exercise to anyone and> will definitely be keeping it up after the Great Swim, unless it traumatises me and> puts me off swimming for life!! 🙁
It is worth getting to some swim training classes if possible and> honing your technique.
