I decided to start personal training with Rachel because I needed some professional guidance and motivation in order to use the machines at the gym. Up until I started training with Rachel I only went to classes and hardly ever used any weights, I found them boring and was a bit ignorant. We have now being training together since February 2016. I managed in a short period of time to give a better shape in my body especially arms and legs and it looked like I had lost weight. When I went back home to Greece for summer everyone was commenting on the fact that I looked slimmer and firmer. My training sessions with Rachel are great and I go to gym with pleasure, she is a smiley person that makes you feel very comfortable and supports you a lot. As a result I have now changed my whole perspective about the gym. All you need is the right person to guide you.

Working with Rachel was a real breath of fresh air and her sessions made me look forward to going to the gym, something no one has ever quite achieved. She took into consideration exercises I loved and those that I didn’t love so much and tailored it to make a programme bespoke for me. Getting up on the dark mornings for my early, pre work gym session was made so much easier as Rachel created programmes that were varied and fun to do. In no time, I started to feel better about myself and loving how much better my clothes were fitting. Rachel also took a lot of interest in me as a person and my nutrition making sure I was eating all the rights things in order to get the best results!

I’ve been working with Rachel for around 18 months and have come on in leaps and bounds in that time. She always keeps the workouts interesting and varied – which is good for me as I’m easily bored! As well as this, I’m now able to do things I never thought I’d be able to, like going in the scary free weights part of the gym. I train in the mornings and sometimes really don’t feel like working out, but I always come away from a session really glad I went and always having enjoyed it. She’s also provided me with some great advice which I follow outside of my sessions which has really helped me progress.

I always look forward to my sessions with Rachel. My overall fitness has improved significantly over the last year and a half and I can really notice an improvement in my core balance and strength. We’ve always got lots to talk about in between exercises – mostly about food and meal ideas. She’s extremely encouraging and always so energetic. No-one else would get away with making me do so many lunges.

I started training with Rachel to lose fat and generally tone,  what I have achieved with Rachel’s help is far more than this.  My overall strength and fitness has improved in a relatively short space of time, using kettlebells and various bodyweight exercises each workout is tailored to you.    She is willing to share her expert knowledge,  tips on nutrition and her dedication is clear.   Rachel is energetic, fun, committed and inspirational,  When I think I can’t do something she will push me to do it without me realising,  no shouting, no humiliation,  just pure encouragement and belief.   I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough.
